Shannon Tao is a Chinese Canadian photographer  who explores themes of transience and belonging in her personal work, drawing from her upbringing across North America, Asia and the United Kingdom. Her experiences have shaped a unique perspective on identity and place, which she translates into visual narratives. Through the lens of a fashion image maker, Shannon crafts stories of blended cultures, self-discovery, and the quiet beauty found in not belonging — and in the process of making a foreign city feel like home.
